Dance-Beat weekly classes are one of our most popular classes covering three principal dance techniques: Disco Freestyle; Street dance and Rock n Roll. These dance techniques give our students a good sample of each dance style.
Our classes are taught to encourage the students to express themselves freely to current pop music. They can be danced solo, in pairs and in groups and we cover a range of rhythms and styles.
Dance classes require energy and body movement so a warm up is essential and is always included in our classes. Freestyle dance is also a good way to keep fit and healthy.
Pupils will also have the opportunity to take ISTD medals to enable progression and ensure quality technique. Classes are graded in Disco Freestyle – giving a structured technical class for those who wish to improve their technique or move towards a professional career. These exams are Government accredited and sit in the framework of National Qualifications for Vocational Skills.

Our Ballroom and Latin dance classes have grown in popularity and are experienced and enjoyed by students of all ages and abilities.
The dances we cover generally consist of Waltz, Tango, Slow Foxtrot, Quickstep and slow & quick rhythm dances.
All these dances were made popular by the Big Bands of the 50's and 60's and we feature many routines in displays and shows - which are enjoyed by all our students.
Latin dancing is a newer development and the dancing is energetic and full of rhythm. Dances including the Rumba, Samba, Jive and Cha Cha Cha are enjoyed by all our students.
All the dances are very rhythmic, full of fast turns and slick actions.
